BJEMS 43rd Annual Day, Dreamscape-2017 Ends
Bhubaneswar, December 28th: (By Minaketan Jena)– The two day long 43rd Annual Day Celebration of BJEM School, Dreamscape-2017 has successfully come to an end with much pomp and elation.Gracing the occasion of the Valedictory ceremony as Chief Guest Padmashree Dr. Ajay Parida, Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar viewed that school is the only laboratory where children can experiment their latent talent and exhibit their curricular and co-curricular refinements to the fullest. “Choose your dream and strive to fulfil it if you really want to initiate a change and bring smiles on each face,” Mr. Parida insisted. The Guest of Honour, Sri Satyabrata Ratho, Editor, My City Links opined that schools provide children a unique platform to showcase their creative prowess in a wide range of fields. The Addl. Manager of the School Mr. Chitta Ranjan Bairisal warmly welcomed all the honourable guests and dignitaries and told that schools are centre of excellence imparting multi skill development related activities. Ms. Sandhya Jena, Principal presented the Annual Report of the school featuring outstanding achievements of the students and staff members in different fields. Mr. Pratap Kumar Jena, Manager, in his short speech, urged the parents to invest more time for the qualitative growth and development of their wards. Sri Raghunath Mishra, Chairman of the school also advised children to strive with sheer perseverance and single minded devotion in order to materialise their dreams. The ceremony culminated with much coveted prize distribution session followed by an amazing cultural bonanza. The guests gave away prizes and certificates to the winners for their outstanding performances. Swetalina Mohanty of Class-IX was adjudged the most prestigious BJEM BLUE Award for the session 2017-18 while Aradhana Manoswini received Best Student Award of Class-IX (2016-17) and Chinmay Rath clinched the Most Disciplined Student Award of Class-IX (2016-17). The closing evening was made colourful by enchanting cultural performances like dances, musical band, group songs and English short play etc. Each single item was so thrilling and left the audience spell bound and transported them into a state of cultural ecstasy and patriotic consciousness. At the end, Upasana Mohanty, Captain of the school presented the vote of thanks to all the people concerned for their benign presence and king cooperation in order to organise the function in a grand way.
