House Search of Sri Ramesh Chandra Patel, Head Clerk, Govt. Women’s College, Sundargarh.
Bhubaneswar 7th October 2017 (By Biswaranjan Mishra)- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Ramesh Chandra Patel, Head Clerk, Govt. Women’s College, Sundargarh, his (1) residential triple storied building at Maheshdihi, Sundargarh Town, (2) office room at Govt. Women’s college, Sundargarh, (3) paternal house at village Kudbhaga, PS. Bhasma, Dist. Sundargarh and (4) Father-in-law house at village Jharkani, PS. Bhasma, Dist. Sundargarh were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 07.10.2017 by the Officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court.
During search, the following movable and immovable assets have been detected from the possession of Sri Patel and his family members.

Thus, the total assets of Sri Patel has been calculated as Rs.1,12,74,978/–so far. The search is in progress.
REVENUE INSPECTOR arrested by Vigilance on graft CHARGE.
Today i.e. on 07.10.2017, Sri Basudev Sahoo, Revenue Inspector, Arua Circle under Dharmasala Tahasil, Dist. Jajpur was arrested by the Officers of Vigilance, Cuttack Division, while demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.4,000/- from Sri Chinmaya Patra, S/o. Laxmidhar Patra, Vill. Parikhata, PS. Jenapur, Dist. Jajpur to submit enquiry report in Dharmasala Tahasil office Mutation Case No. 1339/17 in his favour. Finding no other option, Sri Patra reported the matter to S.P., Vigilance, Cuttack Division. Accordingly, a trap was laid today i.e. 07.10.2017. The accused Sri Sahoo, R.I. was caught red handed in his office room, while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.4,000/- from the Complt. Sri Patra. The bribe money has been recovered from the possession of Sri Sahoo. His hand & shirt pocket wash gave positive chemical reaction confirming acceptance of bribe. Accused Sri Sahoo has been arrested and will be forwarded to the Court. His residential house at Gokana, PS/Dist. Jajpur is being searched. In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance P.S. case No. 49 dt. 07.10.2017 U/s 7 P.C. Act, 1988 has been registered.
