Bijoy stays away: Odisha BJP’s ‘Mishran Parva’Dharmendra dubs support received in Kendrapara as unprecedented

Bhubaneswar / Kendrapara:11th June 2017 (By Debabrat Mohanty)  Union minister’s remarks followed the induction of former Aul MLA Dolagobinda Nayak and former Kendrapara MLA Utkal Keshari Parida in BJP during the noon today. Appreciating the support from the locals in the Kendrapara during the joining ceremony, I have not been invited the local leadership took a decision to boycott the event,” alleged BJP’s National Executive Committee member Bijoy Mohapatra. However, who is coming or who is joining the party at today’s ‘Mishran Parva’. Nobody has spoken to me on this account for even a minute. Since He may deny it today but he has been intimated. No one’s permission is required on who is going to join the party BJP’s State General Secretary Prithviraj Harichandan has rubbished Mohapatra’s claim.“Bijoy babu was intimated about the event at the proper party forum earlier since he is the party’s National Executive Committee member. Dharmendra was of the opinion that such a massive support points at a political change in the State. Not only that, he claimed that, joining of the senior MLA duo would strengthen the party organization in the State.Earlier in the day, after the joining ceremony ended, Dolagobinda Nayak opined that the time for political change in the State has arrived party’s district leadership boycotted the event, hinting at all is not well in the saffron party. While None, either the party’s State President or any Minister or district leadership has discussed it with me.  former MLAs from the district Utkal Keshari Parida and Dolagovind Nayak joined the BJP at the ‘Mishran Parva’ in presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the party’s district president Sukant Dwivedi boycotted the event in protest as senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra was not invited to the event.Dwivedi said that he was boycotting the event in protest since senior party leader Bijoy Mohapatra was not invited to the event.“The truth is I am completely unaware of today’s programme.Soon after the joining formalities of two former MLAs in State BJP was completed at Kendrapara today, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan dubbed the support the saffron party received in the district as unprecedented. The Dubbing the BJD government as treacherous he appealed for united fight against it. Despite two former MLAs joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at its much-hyped ‘Mishran Parva’ here today, the I have no idea on and where, since that decision is taken by a high-level committee,” clarified Harichandan on Mohapatra’s remarks.
