Bhubaneswar,8th June 2017 (By Prasant Kumar Bhuyan) :- This is a first ever major international exhibition and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate this mega event. This mega exhibition will showcase India’s strength in the entire gamut of textile and apparel value chain from fibre to fashion. During this event International conferences and round table seminar will also be held with participation from global and national leaders of industry, technical experts and senior policy makers from the Union and State Governments. With an exhibition area of about 125,000 square metres, over 1000+ exhibitors will showcase their products and services, 2500+ International Buyers, 15000+ Domestic Buyers will be attending the show. There will be thematic display of textile and apparel, handicrafts products, Dedicated Pavilion for Startups, Skills, R&D Sustainability, best display and design etc. all under one roof. Textiles-India 2017 Fair is going to be held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhi agar, Gujarat, from 30th June to 2nd July 2017.The show will cover entire segment of Textile industry consisting display of products from exporters and stakeholders, Round table conferences, fashion show, theme pavilions of partner states Assam and Andhra Pradesh, whereas Jharkhand and Maharashtra as focus state. Ministry of Textiles organized a press conference in Hotel Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar on “Textiles India 2017” addressed by Smt Aditi Das Rout, Trade Advisor, Ministry Of Textiles, and Govt. of India.
