Capacity Usage and Turnover of Major Ports

  All Major Ports except three Major Ports namely, Cochin, Kolkata and Mumbai Port made profit during 2015-16.

 

The overall turnover of 12 Major Ports during 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 has been Rs. 11171.97 cr., Rs. 11759.96 cr., and Rs. 12680.69 cr. respectively. The details of turnover of Ports in Private Sector is not maintained by the Ministry.The  State-wise total installed capacity and capacity usage of Major Ports during 2015-16 are as under:
