Four pairs of long distance trains, now running via Naraj, will run through Cuttack

LONG PENDING DEMANDS FULFILLED: FOUR PAIRS OF TRAINS WILL RUN VIA CUTTACK INSTEAD OF NARAJdsc_0526

Bhubaneswar 12.11.2016 (By Biswaranjan Mishra)-Railways have decided to run four pairs of long distance trains, now running via Naraj, will run through Cuttack Station by providing stoppages. As there was long pending demands from the public to run long distance trains via Cuttack instead of Naraj Marthapur and after completion of doubling between Cuttack & Baranga, it has been decided to run Guwahati-Chennai-Guwahati weekly Express, Dibrugarh-Chennai-Dibrugarh weekly Express, Howrah-Kanyakumari-Howrah weekly Express and Howrah-Tiruchirapalli-Howrah bi-weekly Express through Cuttack Station instead of Naraj.All these trains will arrive Cuttack at 2155hrs and will leave at 2200hrs towards southern part of India. In the return direction, these trains will arrive Cuttack at 1930hrs and will leave at 1935hrs towards Howrah & North-East part of the country.15630 Guwahati-Chennai Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack w.e.f. 18th November 2016 and in the return direction, 15629 Chennai-Guwahati Express will provide stoppage w.e.f. 21st November 2016.15930 Dibrugarh-Chennai Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack w.e.f. 20th November 2016 and in the return direction, 15929 Chennai-Guwahati Express will provide stoppage w.e.f. 17th November 2016.12665 Howrah-Kanyakumari Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack w.e.f. 21st November 2016 and in the return direction, 12666 Kanyakumari-Howrah Express will provide stoppage w.e.f. 19th November 2016.Similarly, 12663 Howrah-Ernakulam Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack w.e.f. 17th November 2016 and in the return direction, 12664 Ernakulam-Howrah Express will provide stoppage w.e.f. 15th November 2016.
