NYCA PAYS A DEEP TRIBUTE TO THE MARTYRS OF URI SECTOR TO MARK THE WORLD PEACE DAY
Bhubaneswar-22/9/2016 (Biswaranjan Mishra)– The Youth Body Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association pays a deep tribute to the martyrs of Uri sector died in the terrorist attack recently to mark the world peace day here today. To mark the occasion a condolence meeting was organized under the chairmanship of its president Dr. Prakash Chandra Panigrahi where the martyr were given floral tributes and a deep homage by lightning the candle and pay a deep sympathy to their family members. The members present described it as a cowardice attitude and appeal the youth community to be united to protect this act in future. The Secretary of the Association Biswajit Pattnaik (Silu) urged to ban and to impose restriction on the countries supporting the terrorists and said it is the high time for the international community should come forward to fight against the terror attacks. One attention motion was passed unanimously by requesting the Govt. to take care of their children and family members and should be compensated duly. In this regard it is also decided to send one memorandum to the Hon’ble Prime Minister. On the occasion a photo collage of the news item published in different News papers on the issue were displayed. At the last all the members were signed in the condolence register. Among the Sr. citizens, intellectuals, local representatives the members of the association Narayan Pratap Ray, Prakash Chandra Sahoo (Gagan), Santosh Das, Bata Krushna Panda, Sishir Kumar Moharana (Kalia Nana), Satish Tripathy (Mina), Jeevan Pattnaik, Ramesh Mohanty & Arjun Dehury were present and helped in organizing the event.
