              Cuttack 23.08.2016 ( By Tapas Mohapatra)–  To day i.e. on 23.8.16  on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Himanshu Bhusan Kar @ Hapi, Sr.Clerk of PTANMTC, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar his (1)  Residential Govt. quarter at  Unit-II, Bhubaneswar, (2) Parental house at Ekanakhandi, Dist-Kendrapara, (3)  Father-in-law’s house at Jamara, Bhubaneswar,     (4) House of Sri Shyam Sundar Behera at  Kolathia, Bhubaneswsar, (5) Residential Govt. quarter of Sri Santosh Kumar Mohapatra, Asst. Executive Engineer, R & B Division, Bhubaneswar at Unit-6 Bhubaneswar, (6) Office room of Sri Himanshu Kar @ Hapi at PTANMTC, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar & (7) Triple storied building at  Dumduma Mouza near ITER College, Bhubaneswar were simultaneously searched  by the Officers of Cell Vigilance Division, Cuttack  on the strength of  search warrant issued by the Court.    During search, so far the following movable and immovable assets with approximate cost mentioned against each are detected in possession of Sri Himanshu Bhusan Kar @ Hapi in his name and in the name of his family members.

Total immovable & movable asset of Sri Himanshu Bhusan Kar @ Hapi, Sr.Clerk of PTANMTC, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar has been so far calculated  comes to  Rs. 1,27,96,737/-.                 Further   investigation is in progress.

2) HEADMASTER CONVICTED IN VIGILANCE CASE:

          Today i.e. on 23.8.2016, the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, pronounced judgement in Koraput Vigilance P.S. Case No. 51 dt.31.12.12 U/s 13(2) R/w 13(1), (c) P.C. Act 1988/ 409 IPC and sentenced the accused Sri Trilochan Bhatra, Ex-Headmaster, Deodhar P.U.P School Nabarangpur Block,  Dist- Nabarangpur to undergo Rigorous  imprisonment for 3 years and to pay a fine of  Rs. 50,000/-   in default of payment of fine to undergo Rigorous imprisonment for 6 months for the offence u/s 13(2) R/w 13(1), (c) P.C. Act. 1988, further sentenced him to undergo Rigorous imprisonment for 3 years and to pay a fine of   Rs. 50,000/-   in default of payment of fine to undergo Rigorous imprisonment for 6 months for the offence u/s 409 IPC. Both the sentences are to run concurrently.    It relates to KPT(V) P.S. Case No. 51 dt.31.12.12 U/s 13(2) R/w 13(1), (c) P.C. Act. 1988/409 IPC. It was alleged that  Sri Trilochan Bhatra, Ex-Headmaster, Deodhar P.U.P School under Nabarangpur Block, Dist- Nabarangpur for misappropriation of Rs. 1,63,474/- without completing construction of Addl. Class Room, Building and Toilet in the year 2010-2011. After completion of   investigation the case was charge sheeted against Sri Trilochan Bhatra and the case was under trial in the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore.Sri Harekrushna Majhi, Ex- Inspector, Vigilance Nabarangpur Unit at present D.S.P., Vigilance, Keonjhar Unit was the Investigating Officer of the case and Sri M. Balajee Rao, Special P.P, Vigilance, Jeypore conducted the case on behalf of prosecution.
