Respected Sir,
We seek to draw your kind attention to the poor state of women, children and overall  development scenario of Nagada village coming under administrative jurisdiction of Sukinda block of mineral rich Jajpur district of Odisha. Contrary to the claims being made by the State Govt of overall development in the State, A fact  finding team of our party which visited the Village and interacted with residents who mostlybelong to Juanga Tribe and Government officials at ground level there and found the following
19 deaths have taken place in a span of few months in Nagada village. This speaks  volume of Health and medical conditions of Juang people in the area. It is due to chronic hunger which led to malnutrition and lack of medical treatment that cause to their death.
 This village has been left out of development Schemes of the state Govt. for years  together.
 Families have not been provided Ration Cards under National Food Security Act by the State Government. As per NFSA guidelines of Government of India, all families are entitled to be included in the Food Security Scheme.
 Under Antodaya Anna Yojana all Juang families are to get 35 kg rice per month but are  yet to be covered.
 ICDS programme, one of the most important food security programme to ensure nutritious food to the children is not implemented in Nagada village, due to nonexistence of Anganwadi centre.
 No employment generation programme under NREGA has ever been undertaken in the  village since the inception of the scheme.
 As there is no Govt. school in the village, The children are deprived of getting free education under Right to Education Act and also getting Mid-day- Meal
 Under Forest Right Act,the land
 Under Forest Right Act,the land patta is yet to allotted to Juang families as per their  entitlement..
 Despite being an industrial hub there is no road connectivity to Nagada village, the tribals  use forest track to cover 10 kms on foot to get service benefits under various scheme. Even CSR fund which can be used for the above purpose remain unutilized /unspent.
 Even Indira Awas Yojana & Biju Pucca Ghara Yojana, Agricultural and Horticultural
development programmes are not implemented in the area. There is no tube well.  ir, Nagada is not a standalone example of neglected villages in our State. The lack of will power to provide basic fundamental amenities by this Govt. is thoroughly  xposed. SPECIFICALLY ,where it concern tribal women and children. As proof of in ability of State Government, we hereby attached proof of letters from W&CD  Department (dated 14/7/2016 and 16/7/2016 ) addressed to District Collectors and Social welfare  Officers which clearly indicates how funds meant for construction of Anganwadi Centres and   Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP) have remained unspent in almost all districts of the  State.
Sir, AS THE HEAD OF THE state, We appeal to you that, Constitutional Powers vested with  you may be used to insure and protect the lives of Odia people in general and Tribal of the State
in particular, by directing the State Govt to insure, implement and monitor all Central and State  schemes meant for the benefit of the downtrodden people. We look forward for your kind intervention and immediate action on the above mentioned issues.
