KISS Girl Selected for Probable Indian U-16 girls’ Football team

Bhubaneswar 20.07.2016 (By Mano Mani Singh)-Janaki Murmu a +2 1st year Arts Student of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has been selected for the Probable Indian U-16 girls Football team. She is among the top four selected players of Odisha and will attend the National U-16 preparatory camp for the preparation of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup U-16 girls’ championship 2017 to be continued at SAI Training Centre, Patiala, Punjab from 22nd July.Earlier Janaki represented India in the “Asian U-14 Girls Football Championship held in Kathamandu, Nepal from 20th to 24th April 2015. She also represented Odisha in the “Junior National Girls Football Championship-2015” held in Goa from 5th to 21st October 2015 where Odisha got 2nd place in this championship. She bagged champion’s trophy in the State Schools Football (U-17) Girls Championship 2014 held at NTPC Stadium, Kaniha From 18th to 20th October 2014. She Participated in Sub-Junior National Football Championship 2014-15 held at Cuttack. Earlier this July She represented Odisha in the “U-19 National Girls Football championship” held in Cuttack and Odisha team played up to Semifinal.
